Having it export the zips and which territory they're in to an Excel file is also useful to me, but I don't need any fancy reports, I don't need multiple-stop route suggestions or territory suggestions. ![]() I've tried both Google and Bing maps, and it seems that you lose the territory view when trying to get directions. Microsoft MapPoint alternatives are mainly Map Services but may also be GIS Software or Travel Planners. Other great apps like Microsoft MapPoint are Badger Maps, Mapline, SAGA GIS and eSpatial. Get directions without losing the view of the territories The best alternative is QGIS, which is both free and Open Source. These territories must be zip code based ![]() ![]() Show territories visually (and visibly see the names of the territories) Unfortunately, I use it pretty much every day and have been struggling in the past few hours to find something even remotely close. Bing Maps will be your best alternative as there are very detailed documentations on how to migrate to Bing Map services. MapPoint Web service will be deprecating on Nov 18, 2011. I found out today that Microsoft Mappoint is discontinuing updates at the end of the year. You should consider migrating MapPoint web services to Bing Maps REST / and Bing Spatial Data Services.
